Vet Care Assistance Program

The Animal Care Assistance Program (ACAP) provides funding to low-income pet owners in rural Central Virginia and surrounding counties. This program helps people obtain veterinary care and medications for their pets, along with other essential services. ACAP is specifically designed to assist pet owners with basic preventative and interventional veterinary needs for cats and dogs only. If you want to help a pet application, you can apply for assistance on their website, www.acapva.org.

For those seeking pet mutual aid outside the Central Virginia area, select the link below to explore listings of other organizations that offer help.
